Disney World and Disneyland Resort to Change Dining Reservation System

News about WDW and Disneyland Resort changing dining reservation system is a trending topic on United States Friday, August 5, 2023.

Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort have announced an upcoming overhaul of their dining reservation system. These changes are expected to offer guests at the parks more flexibility and convenience when booking dining reservations.

Reports indicate that guests will have greater flexibility if they change their minds about their reservations. Most dining locations will soon permit reservation modifications or cancellations up to 24 hours in advance without penalty. The new policy will likely be welcomed by guests who previously had to cancel their bookings well in advance to avoid being charged.

The new system is expected to be implemented in the following months and it is expected to enhance the dining experience of guests visiting Disney World and Disneyland Resort. These changes are part of Disney's broader efforts to enhance the overall guest experience at its parks.

Apart from the changes in dining reservations, Disney World is also intending to provide exclusive days for Annual Passholders and cast members to visit the theme parks without prior reservations. This is an additional feature to the recent update, which provides Passholders with the opportunity to visit the theme parks after 2 p.m.

Disney is reintroducing its popular dining plans for its fans, available to guests staying at Disney Resort hotels who purchase a vacation package for stays starting Jan. 9, 2024. Guests can choose from two popular options: These options include either quick-service meals or table-service meals.

These changes are part of Disney's continuous efforts to enhance the visitors' experience at its parks. The new dining reservation system and other updates will provide guests with an even more pleasurable and convenient experience at Disney World and Disneyland Resort.
