Former Ravens running back Alex Collins died in a motorcycle accident at the age of 28. Collins had a five-season career in the NFL, playing for the Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens. In the 2016 NFL Draft, the Seahawks picked him in the fifth round, and he played for them for two seasons before joining the Ravens in 2018. During the 2018 season, Collins started 15 games for the Ravens, rushing for 973 yards and scoring six touchdowns. He was let go by the team in 2019 and did not play football in the NFL again.

Collins lost his life in a motorcycle accident that took place on Sunday night in Broward County, Florida. The Baltimore Ravens issued a statement to offer their condolences to Collins' family and friends. Collins' alma mater, the Arkansas Razorbacks, also issued a statement to mourn his passing.
